2016 has been nothing short of a disaster for the Bowling Green Falcons. Starting their year with a 77-10 loss at Ohio State was followed by a one-point win over FCS North Dakota (not the good North Dakota, either), and then a 20-point loss to Middle Tennessee at home. Suffice to say 1-2 isn’t what anyone expected from the 2016 edition of the Falcons and Mike Jinks.
Memphis comes into Saturday night undefeated at 2-0, with wins over Kansas and FCS Southeast Missouri State. The Tigers have a high octane offense and scheme, but they have carried their wins on the backs of their defense.
