CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ball State shortstop Dylan Grego and Kent State third baseman Hayden Jatczak were named Third Team All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
The 25th All-America selection in Cardinals' baseball history, Grego is Ball State's first All-American since starting pitcher Tyler Schweitzer was named a second-team honoree in 2022.
Named first-team all-league in the Mid-American Conference and an ABCA/Rawlings All-Midwest Region pick earlier this week, Grego was also named to the MAC's All-Defensive Team and is a semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Award, presented to the nation's top shortstop.
Grego's 89 hits on the year led the MAC, and were the third-most in a season in Ball State baseball history.
