TENNESSEE -- A seventh-inning rally fell just short on Monday morning (March 2), as the Bowling Green softball team dropped a 4-3 decision at East Tennessee State. The game, part of ETSU's Buccaneer Classic, was held at Betty Basler Field.
The Bucs scored an unearned run in the bottom of the first on a two-base error and a pair of fly balls, and for a long while, it looked like that would be all the scoring the hosts would need.
