Kent State was paced by senior Jimmy Hall and his 22 points in leading the Golden Flashes.
Late in the second half, Kent State used timely three-pointers from guard Kevin Zabo at the 4:34 mark to open a four point lead, 58-54, and also a three-pointer at the 2:55 mark to open a 61-56 lead.
