Cleveland, Ohio -- Kent State senior Jimmy Hall converted two free throws with 12.9 seconds left in regulation to secure a 68-65 win for the No. 6 seed Golden Flashes over No. 3 seed Buffalo in the 2017 Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinals Thursday evening in Quicken Loans Arena. With the win, Kent State advances to face Ohio on Friday night's Semifinals.
Kent State was lead by Hall with 24 points, while senior guard Deon Edwin added 14 points.
