Golden Flashes Sit in Second Place After Day 1 of NCAA Regional

San Francisco, Calif.- The No. 16 Kent State women's golf team sit atop the leaderboard tied for second place through one round of the NCAA Regional Tournament at the TPC Harding Park Course in San Francisco, Calif.

After 18 holes, the Golden Flashes are one of six teams under par in the tournament at 4-under par 284 tied for second place with Colorado. Kent State is within striking distance of the leader UCLA by four strokes.

Individually, Chloe Salort leads the team at 2-under par 70.
