SILVER LAKE, Ohio - The Golden Falshes continued to show why they are ranked 12th in the country after extending their lead to 19 strokes following day two of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championships at Silver Lake Country Club on Saturday.
Kent State's sophomore Michaela Finn carded a tournament-best -2 (70), 18-hole round on day two of the championships to give her the lead after 36 holes with a combined score of 143 (-1). The Golden Flashes still control the top of the leaderboard with four of their five competitors claiming the top four spots. Close behind Finn is freshman Pimnipa Panthong 147 ( 3), senior Wad Phaewchimplee 148 ( 4), and freshman Karoline Stormo 149 ( 5).
