MAC Men's Golf Championship Central FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Kent State Golden Flashes came roaring back after starting the final round ten strokes back to become the 2018 Mid-American Conference Men's Golf Champions. The title marks the 25th in program history. The Golden Flashes finished the four round Championship at Sycamore Hills Golf Club with a score of 1196 (+44). Ball State finished in second place (1199), while Miami (1209), Akron (1226) & Northern Illinois (1239) closed out the Top-5. Kent State also took individual medalist honors, with Ian Holt finishing first overall.
