Former Middle Tennessee guard Anthony Crumb commits to Northern Illinois

The Northern Illinois Huskies and head coach Mark Montgomery seem to have found a potential replacement for Eugene German in former Middle Tennessee’ guard Anthony Crump, who committed to NIU on Friday evening.

As a redshirt freshman last season, Crumb averaged 2.1 points per game and 1.2 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game. Even though Crump didn’t get to see the court that often, he is certainly capable of high success. The six-foot-eight Detroit, Michigan, native shot an incredible 52 percent from the floor, including 40 percent from behind the three-point line, in his senior yeat at Plymoth (MI) HS.
