Former CMU defensive end Mike Danna transfers to Michigan

After weeks of speculation, former Central Michigan defensive end Mike Danna announced his intention to transfer to the University of Michigan football program on Tuesday afternoon.

Danna, the six-foot-two, 257 lb. prospect from Warren De La Salle High School, is a graduate transfer who is expected to have one year of eligibility upon enrolling in Ann Arbor. He projects to be a starter in the Michigan defensive end rotation and will likely replace one of the positions formerly occupied by Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich, both of whom entered the 2019 NFL Draft.
