Flashes Bounce Back With Dominant Win at Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Kent State volleyball team bounced back from a disappointing setback on Monday with a dominant 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-20) win over Toledo inside of Savage Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Flashes (7-1) posted a season-high .350 hitting percentage and were led by the trio of sophomore pin hitters Savannah Matthews, Taylor Heberle and Morgan Copley, which combined for 36 kills while hitting at a .406 clip. Matthews led all players with 17 kills and registered a career-high .
