BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team will meet Penn State University on Friday evening (Nov. 9), in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Championships. The Falcons and Nittany Lions will meet at Jeffrey Field, with first touch set for 6:00 p.m.
The Falcons earned the Mid-American Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships after winning the MAC Tournament title on Sunday afternoon. BGSU also won the MAC's regular-season crown, and the Falcons are headed to the NCAA Championships for the third time.
And, for the third time in as many national tourney appearances, BGSU will meet a Big Ten Conference opponent.
