Eastern Michigan's Alsu Bogdanova, Track and Field (Senior, Individualized Studies, 3.83)
Redshirt senior Alsu Bogdanova (Kazan, Russia-Lyceum #83) put a cap on her incredible indoor career by earning Most Valuable Performer at the MAC Championships, Saturday, Feb. 24 in Bowling Green, Ohio. The Kazan, Russia native medaled in all three events she competed in (Mile, 3000m, and 5000m), and was a significant piece in the team winning its third conference title in four years. Her best event of the day came in the 5000m, where she placed first with a time of 16:35.
