Eastern Michigan QB Brogan Roback suspended for "violation of team rules"

The Eastern Michigan Eagles are going to go into the start of the 2016 season without their starting quarterback.

Brogan Roback was the Eagles' primary option at quarterback last season as previous starter Reginald Bell III was nagging with a leg injury. Head coach Chris Creighton was mum as to what exactly happened, but called the situation "disappointing" in an interview with the Detroit Free Press.

"With the privilege of being a member of the Eastern Michigan University football program there are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable," Creighton told the Free Press in an email.
