Of the teams that I hate watching since I’ve been covering Eastern Michigan basketball, Ball State probably stands at the top. It seems like every time I watch them play the Eagles they somehow come up on top. So it is always nice when Eastern Michigan beats them.

Eastern Michigan was lead in scoring by Elijah Minnie with 25 points. Also of note was James Thompson IV with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Eastern Michigan was able to shot 50% from the field but their three point shooting was especially hot at 61.
