Eastern Michigan has been kind of an enigma this year. I expected them to lose to Duke and Kansas but I didn’t expect them to lose so bad to Duke. I expected them to beat their NAIA opponents but not so close. I was hoping they would keep it close against Buffalo, but we know that result of that game.
As they hosted the Golden Flashes, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Kent State was sitting at 12-3 and the Eagles were 7-8. I was expecting a game where the Eagles would hang for about a half and then get put away by the Golden Flashes.
