DeKalb, Ill. -- For the 23rd time in school history, Eastern Michigan has claimed the MAC Men's Cross Country Championship title. The Eagles finished with a team total of 59 points. Following close behind in second place was Miami with a total of 64 points.
Akron's Marc Migliozzi took home the individual title, posting a time of 25:15.9. Buffalo's Caleb Covell crossed the finish line to second place in a time of 25:26.6, while Ohio's Josh Park followed up last year's individual title with a third place finish in a time of 25:31.3.
A pair of sophomores earned vital points for the Eagles, as Andy Payne finished in fourth place with a time of 25:35.
