Doege shines as Bowling Green blasts Kent State

Both the Kent State Golden Flashes and Bowling Green Falcons entered Tuesday night’s contest with the hope that a dominant performance would springboard the back half of their season to a much different more hopeful optimism than has been present in their 2017 to date. After a 44-16 Falcon win, hope springs eternal for BG and it’s back to the drawing board for Kent State.

It was an offensive explosion for the Falcons, as QB Jarret Doege threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Andrew Clair surpassed 100 yards rushing for the fourth straight game and the two freshmen led Bowling Green to a dominant offensive performance en route to their 2nd MAC win (and 2nd overall win) of the 2017 season.
