Athens, Ohio – After the first day of the 2018 MAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship, the Akron Zips lead the way with a total of 80 points. Buffalo sits in second place behind Akron with 66 points, and Eastern Michigan ends the day in third place with 62 points.
The Akron women's swimming and diving team of Sadie Fazekas, Paulina Nogaj, Jackie Pash, and Ellie Nebraska broke the Conference record for the 800-Freestyle Relay with a time of 7:09.92 beating the former record by just under two seconds (7:11.
