CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2018 Men's and Women's Cross Country Academic All-MAC teams Thursday. A total of 46 student-athletes were named to the men's team while 79 student-athletes were named to the women's team.
Miami led the men's team with eight honorees. Bowling Green and Buffalo followed close behind with seven student-athletes receiving recognition.
On the women’s side, Toledo placed 12 student-athletes on the 2018 squad. Ohio followed with nine while NIU and Miami each received eight nods.
Nick Stricklen (UA/exercise science), Kyle Hibinger (BGSU/biology), Jonathan Voth (BGSU/pre-exercise science), Austin Wicker (EMU/nursing), Kevin Jones (KSU/criminal justice), and Matthew Gibbons (TUT/mechanical engineering) all recorded a perfect 4.
