CoSIDA Names Nason & Baeron to Academic All-America Third Team

2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Teams

AUSTIN, Texas - The College Sport Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday the women's soccer student-athletes selected for the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America team.

The Mid-American Conference had two student-athletes placed on the third team; Bowling Green's Elisa Baeron and Eastern Michigan's Kristin Nason.

Baeron, a native of Selsingen, Lower Saxony, Germany, played in all 22 of BG's matches, making a pair of starts. She was named the Mid-American Conference Tournament MVP as the Falcons won the league tourney title. Baeron – who arrived at BGSU mere months after the Falcons had completed a winless 2013 campaign – converted her penalty kick in the sixth round of the PK phase against Ball State in the MAC Tournament's championship match (Nov.
