An already loaded Toledo Rockets receiving corps just got a little stronger for 2018, since Cody Thompson will take advantage of a medical hardship waiver and don the midnight blue and gold one more year.
While Logan Woodside will be in the NFL, whomever is chucking balls for the Rockets will have a bevy of talented receivers to chose from. Thompson was battling Buffalo phenom Anthony Johnson to lead the league in yards per contest when he went down in the 5th game of the season. They were the only two from the MAC to average over 100 per contest.
