David DiLeo led Central Michigan with 22 points and six rebounds, as the Chippewas held on to defeat the Wofford Terriers, 98-94, and advance to the quarterfinals of the CIT.
Five Chippewas scored in double digits on the night, including DiLeo. Kevin McKay did a little bit of everything, as he scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists. Josh Kozinski added 18 points, making six of 10 from three-point range. Cecil Williams scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists, and Shawn Roundtree Jr.
