AVON, Ohio -- Central Michigan used an eight inning shutout performance from sophomore Jordan Patty to propel them to their first MAC Baseball Championship since 1995.

Tournament MVP Griffin Lockwood-Powell launched a two-run homerun in the first inning, and the Chippewas added another crooked inning in the 7th to win the title.
