AKRON, Ohio -- No. 1 Central Michigan eliminated No. 5 Ball State from the 2017 MAC Softball Championship behind a complete game shutout performance from pitcher Rachael Knapp, 3-0. With the win, the Chippewas will face the loser of No. 2 Ohio/No. 3 NIU tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. in an elimination game.
