Central Michigan accepts bid to CIT

Central Michigan won't be heading to the NIT like last year after they entered the MAC Tournament as a 2-seed dropping the championship game to Buffalo, but they will still be participating in postseason action. This year, after posting a 17-15 record, 10-8 against MAC foes, CMU has accepted an invite to play in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

The Chippewas, 13-3 at home, have announced that they will host their first round game on Wednesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. With conference tournaments still going on, no bracket has been finalized, let alone an opponent for CMU to be lined up yet.
