Buffalo will play Marshall in the Camellia Bowl

The Buffalo Bulls are going bowling for the third consecutive season.

After coming up short in the MAC Championship Game, Buffalo (5-1, 5-0 MAC) will receive an opportunity at redemption in bowl season. The Bulls will play C-USA runner-up Marshall (7-2, 4-1 C-USA) in the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, AL, on Dec. 25.

Last season, Buffalo triumphed over Charlotte in the Bahamas Bowl for its first bowl win in program history. This year, the Bulls are paired with another C-USA opponent, one that has shown remarkable postseason success in the past. Under head coach Doc Holliday, Marshall displays a 6-1 record in bowl games.
