Buffalo To Face Northwestern In The 2018 NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament

EVANSTON, IL – The Mid-American Conference Champion University at Buffalo women's tennis team will take their 14-match winning streak into NCAA Tournament action on Friday afternoon, as the Bulls will face Northwestern in the opening round. The match will begin at 4pm EST. The winner will advance to Saturday's Round of 32 against either Kentucky or Kansas State.

The Bulls enter Friday's match with a 17-3 record, as they have not lost a contest since February. Buffalo has dominated through singles action, as the Bulls are 145-46 in singles, including 41-5 in their last 46 singles matches. Senior Lolade Ogungbesan has a team-high 26 singles wins this year and her 17-3 record in dual matches is the fifth best record amongst student-athletes playing at third singles in the NCAA Tournament.
