Buffalo’s tandem of halfbacks was a spectacle to watch over the years. Jaret Patterson and Kevin Marks, both juniors in 2020, averaged over 100 yards per game as Buffalo finished with a 6-1 record. In the prior season, they were one of two duos in college football to each attain over 1,000 rushing yards. Unfortunately for the Bulls, neither tailback will be part of the program next fall. Patterson declared for the NFL Draft, and now, Marks is entering the transfer portal.
The running back released a statement Saturday on Twitter to announce his transfer:
Marks spent three prolific seasons in Buffalo in which the Bulls qualified for two MAC Championships and won their first two bowls in program history.
