Drew Anderson played just five games as a Buffalo Bull, but his name is already etched into the school and conference record books.

But the quarterback is leaving New York and the conference, as he announced his transfer on his Twitter page Friday afternoon.

Anderson opts to grad transfer to Murray State of the FCS. The 6’5” quarterback from California played four games as a junior last season, briefly replacing the injured Tyree Jackson before suffering an arm injury in a loss to Northern Illinois on October 14.

Jackson eventually returned to the field at the end of the season, leading Buffalo to three-consecutive victories to attain bowl eligibility.
