ATHENS, GA – The University at Buffalo softball team fell to #9 Georgia 14-1 in five innings in the opening game of the Red & Black Showcase at Turner Softball Stadium on Thursday.
The Georgia offense got to UB starter Lace Smith early and often, scoring 11 runs on 10 hits, including a stretch of straight hits to open the game, to take an 11-0 lead through one inning of play.
