Buffalo and Missouri State Tied for First After Day 1 of Men's Swimming & Diving Championships

CARBONDALE, Illinois – After one day of action, the Missouri State Bears and Buffalo Bulls are tied for first place at the 2017 Mid-American Conference Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships.

The evening started off with Buffalo defending their 200 Medley Relay title. The team of Hudson Carrol, Itai De La Vega, Mason Miller and Eric Jensen touched the wall in 1:26.88, setting a pool record. Southern Illinois tapped in second in 1:27.51 and Missouri State finished third with a time of 1:28.30.

The final event of the evening, 800 Freestyle Relay, went to Missouri State.
