The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Bowling Green wide receiver Scott Miller 208th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Miller, a sixth round selection, is the first Bowling Green alum to hear his name called at this year’s draft and the first Falcon chosen since defensive tackle Chris Jones became a Houston Texan in the 2013 sixth round.
Miller was a four-year player at Bowling Green, peaking during a stellar senior season in 2018. In his final run with the Falcons, Miller had a career-high and MAC-leading 1,178 receiving yards, averaging 16.2 yards per reception. He complemented his yard total with nine touchdowns, achieving a Second Team All-MAC selection.
