Bowling Green junior goalkeeper Kathleen Duwve had a 2-0-0 record and a pair of shutouts as the Falcons opened MAC play with road victories over Miami and Ball State. Duwve made a total of five saves on the weekend, including four stops as BGSU blanked Ball State, picked to finish second in the conference, on the road. She made one stop in the Friday win at Miami. The shutout at BSU was Duwve’s second in a row, her third of the season and the seventh complete-match shutout of her BG career.
