Northern Illinois takes care of Bowling Green for their 18th win of the season, most since the 1995-1996 season. It was another Tuesday night at the Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois and it was a Huskie victory 71-60.
The Huskies used a balanced effort to defeat the Falcons. The Huskies moved to 7-6 in the MAC with the victory and are poised to continue the chase for the MAC West title.
Marin Maric paced the Huskies once again with another double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) and three blocks on the defensive end. Aaric Armstead chipped in another nice game after his performance on Sunday with 14 points and six rebounds.
