Two suddenly hot Mid-American Conference east teams will square off on Tuesday night as the Kent State Golden Flashes host the Bowling Green Falcons. Both teams are well behind east division leader Akron (9-1), with Kent State at 5-5 and Bowling Green at 4-6.
However, the Golden Flashes have won four out of their last five games and the Falcons have won two straight. Last Saturday, Kent State went into Miami and won a hard fought contest against the Redhawks, 66-62. Senior Jimmy Hall had his sixth double-double in the last seven games with 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
