Boateng To Serve as WMU Soccer Interim

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics have announced the elevation of Sammy Boateng to the position of interim head soccer coach on Monday.

Boateng joined the Broncos as an assistant coach back on March 22 after spending a season as the interim head coach at Boston College, helping the Eagles to a fourth place finish in the ACC and the program's first trip to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015. At BC he coached the 2018 ACC Midfielder of the Year, Samantha Coffey.
