LEXINGTON, KY - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2019-20 United States Marine Corps (USMC)/AVCA Team Academic Award recipients on Monday. This year, a record 1,313 teams received recognition across all three collegiate divisions and high school. Of the 227 NCAA Division I programs honored, eleven Mid-American Conference programs garnered accolades; Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, and Western Michigan.
Bowling Green and Toledo are each receiving this honor for the 20th consecutive year.
