University of Akron senior Jordan Latimer (Huber Heights, Ohio) capped his stellar Zips' career with an eighth-place performance in the men's long jump to garner first-team All-America accolades for the third time and headline Akron's efforts on the opening day of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, June 5. By virtue of Latimer's eighth-place performance, Akron extended its streak of having scored every year in the men's competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships since 2013.
