AKRON, Ohio - The Akron Zips Men's Track and Field team captured their sixth MAC league title in the last seven seasons on Saturday at the 2020 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Eastern Michigan’s Owen Day earned his third-straight title in the mile, finishing with a time of 4:06.86. Day climbed back on top of the podium in 800m, after edging out a 1:51.38.

The Eagles continued their success in the 60m Hurdles as Devonte Findlay crossed in 7.89 to capture first.

After winning the 5000m on Friday, Baldvin Magnusson picked up his second individual distance title of the championships with an 8:18.
