CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday the predictions for the 2017-18 Indoor Track and Field season. The Akron Zips have been selected by the league’s coaches to take both the Men’s and Women’s MAC Championship titles.
The Akron Men will be looking for their fifth consecutive team championship. The Zips return several veterans to this year’s squad including 2017 NCAA Outdoor Pole Vault Champion Matt Ludwig, three-time MAC Long Jump Champion Terrell McClain and two-time First Team All-MAC member Garrett Crichlow.
Eastern Michigan was selected to finish second at the championship, with Kent State completing the top-3.
