In Tuesday night’s only action on the men’s side of the bracket, after a number of postponements wiped the slate clean, the Kent State Godlen Flashes managed to stave off a hungry Bowling Green Falcons squad to maintain their high-seed pace, downing their in-state peers by a final score of 71-67.
The Falcons were able to hang with the Golden Flashes for most of the game, managing to nab a 52-51 lead at the 12:25 mark after Kaden Metheny sank a three-pointer off a defensive rebound from Jacob Washington. The Golden Flashes would regain the lead after a layup from Tervell Beck to make the score 53-52.
