Week 8 saw the Ball State Cardinals (yes, THOSE Ball State Cardinals) take the top spot in the MAC West, with Central Michigan, who was 1-11 in 2018, right behind them. Meanwhile in the MAC East, Ohio reclaimed a winning record in the MAC East... only to find themselves tied with three other teams for the division lead!
Safe to say, it’s been a strange season.
Week 9 will do a lot to separate the top from the bottom, or at the very least, clear up the middle of the table. As always, #MACtion can never quite be predicted.
