The 2019 Mid-American Conference Championship Game between the Central Michigan Chippewas (8-4, 6-2 MAC) and the Miami RedHawks (7-5, 6-2 MAC) is set to kick off on Saturday, Dec. 2, at noon EST.
The game features two teams who weren’t quite expected to be here when the preseason polls came out.
Miami was selected to finish second in the division, with the Ohio Bobcats selected as the unanimous pick to win the MAC East. The RedHawks didn’t get any votes in the preseason poll for the MAC Championship either, with Ohio being the only East team selected to win it all.
