With Central Michigan’s win on Saturday, it means we can finally put the MAC tournament pairings and bracket in ink.
March 5th starts the action with the first round games at campus sites, hosted by the Central Michigan Chippewas, the Kent State Golden Flashes, the Miami-Ohio Redhawks, and the Western Michigan Broncos. Winners advance to your automatic bye holders in Cleveland for the quaterfinals and that’s where the fun starts. The MAC is a bit of an oddity in that the entire tourney isn’t hosted all in one place, but it does ensure a ton of eyeballs (at least in person) are going to be on the opening games.
