CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2018 Field Hockey Academic All-MAC team Wednesday. A total of 67 student-athletes were named to the team.
2018 MAC Champion Miami turned in the most representatives on the team with 14, while the Central Michigan Chippewas were not far behind, landing a total of 13 on the squad.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
