Over the weekend, WMU held its annual spring game which was a nice opportunity for their staff to show off Kalamazoo to a handful of recruits. One of them was so impressed that he committed just hours after.
LB Treshaun Hayward announced his commitment to P.J. Fleck and Western Michigan on Saturday evening.
Hayward committed over reported offers from Ball State, Buffalo, CMU, EMU, Illinois, Miami, NIU, and Toledo. 247Sports Composite rates Hayward a 3-star recruit, however it is unclear if Hayward's Illinois offer came from Lovie Smith and the new staff or former head coach Bill Cubit.
