Coach Fleck and his staff received a surprise present on the morning of Christmas Eve in the form of a commitment.
3-star defensive end Esezi Otomewo committed to Western Michigan on Saturday morning according to 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong.
Otomewo chose the Broncos over reported offers from Iowa State, Illinois, Syracuse, Ball State, Bowling Green, Marshall, New Mexico, and Toledo. Otomewo currently attends Ben Davis high school located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The 6-foot-6 210 pound defensive end is the second defensive end to commit to WMU. He is the 25th recruit to join coach Fleck’s 2017 recruiting class.
