The Miami-Ohio Redhawks haven’t had a winning season since they went 10-4 in 2010, nearly coming close last season with a 6-7 record last season. The fortune wasn’t on the RedHawks’ side in week one as they fell to Marshall, 31-26, last Saturday.
The final was set in stone after they had the ball with 53 seconds left in the game, a drive that ended at the Marshall 41 yard line. Consequently, their quest for creating a winning season for the first time in seven years became a tad rockier.
The RedHawks’ next attempt at getting their first win of 2017 will take place in Oxford at Yager Stadium when they host the Governors of Austin Peay, an FCS school out of Clarksville, Tennessee, with an enrollment of just over 10,000 students.
