After losing their highest rated signee last evening, Toledo bounced back with the commitment of 3-star DE Jamal Hines.
Hines originally committed to Cincinnati, however de-committed once they hired a new coach. Cincinnati was his only other reported offer. After watching his highlights, the fact that he has so few offers is baffling.
The 6-foot-4 225 pound recruit is a native of Cincinnati and attends Princeton high school. Hines is a high-motor player who displays good hands on the line of scrimmage and does well batting balls down. In the short term, Hines could make an immediate impact on special teams on the defensive line blocking kicks.
